Tom Marquardt has more than 28 years of experience in civil engineering planning, design and construction management of transportation-related projects including highways, roadways and bridges. He spent more than 10 years with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Fort Worth District, serving over 5 years as a Construction Manager/Inspector and another 5 years in the Central Design Section. Tom has extensive background in the development of construction plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), preliminary engineering studies, schematic design, right-of-way (ROW) determination, land surveying and aerial photogrammetry. Tom’s projects include IH 20 Frontage Roads in Weatherford; SH 171 (S. Main Street) Widening in Weatherford (rural to urban section with raised median); US 67 in Alvarado (addition of deceleration and acceleration lanes into an industrial plant); Loop 289 & 19th Street in Lubbock; Holland Lake Bridge in Weatherford; the Lake Lewisville Corridor Project in Little Elm; and SH 171 Bridge Widening in Weatherford (including U-turn bridges on both sides of bridge). Tom joined Dannenbaum in 2003 and is a Senior Transportation Project Manager in Dannenbaum’s North Texas Region.
