Mike Garza has over 10 years of experience in planning, design and construction management for roadway, highway and bridge projects throughout the State of Texas. In addition, he is a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) proficient in analysis, design and implementation of various traffic engineering elements including traffic simulation, traffic impact analyses (TIAs), traffic signal and illumination layouts, traffic control plans, ITS components, and travel demand modeling. In 2013, Mike was selected by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) as one of only 10 individuals in the nation recognized as a New Face of Civil Engineering Professional. Mike’s recent project experience includes the Verano Development TIA (2,500 acre MDP) for the City of San Antonio; Bulverde Road Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Project for the City of San Antonio; IH 10 Ramp Reversal and Frontage Road Design in Seguin for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT); Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) Analysis, Design and Implementation for Bexar County; State Loop 20 in Laredo for TxDOT; and State Loop 79 in Del Rio for TxDOT. Mike joined Dannenbaum in 2012 and is a Transportation Project Manager and Traffic Engineer for Dannenbaum’s Central and South Texas Regions.
