Louis Jones has 34 years in the field of civil, structural and water resource engineering. He has led a number of major infrastructure projects including major transportation projects, including tollways and international bridge structures from Texas into Mexico; major water and wastewater projects; large land development projects; and major flood control projects. Some projects of note include the Master Planning and Design of 20 MGD of the Ultimate 120 MGD El Pico Surface Water Treatment Plant in Laredo; 37-Mile Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 (HCDD1)/U.S. International Boundary & Water Commission (USIBWC) Rio Grande River Levee Improvement Project in Hidalgo County; Anzalduas International Bridge, McAllen, Texas to Reynosa, Mexico, the longest bridge on the U.S./Mexico border; Master Planning and Site-Civil Design for the 750-Acre La Sienna Development in Edinburg; and the McAllen Wastewater Treatment Plant ($38 Million) for the City of McAllen. Louis currently serves as Program Manager for the Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority (HCRMA) for an over a billion dollar program for development of toll roads in Hidalgo County. Louis joined Dannenbaum in 1978, is a Principal, and serves as Manager of Dannenbaum’s South Texas Region.
