Dannenbaum has been providing port infrastructure design services for more than 20 years. Recent projects include design of the Gulf Coast’s newest and largest container terminal main wharf at Bayport and the heavy container yard at Barbours Cut Terminal at the Port of Houston.

Dannenbaum’s breadth of aviation-related work in Texas is characterized by designs at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport flyover at JFK Boulevard of the Hardy Toll Road Connector; Taxiway Bridge over Terminal Access Road; and Terminal A/B South Ramp with Taxiways.

Across the State, Dannenbaum designs are carrying Texans to their destinations. We engineered such projects as the Beltway 8 Overpass at SH 288 in Houston, several segments of the Sam Houston and Hardy Toll Roads in Harris County, IH 35 through New Braunfels and the Loop 289/US 82 multi-level interchange in Lubbock.

Land development projects include the 2,000-acre South Shore Harbour development on Clear Lake near Houston, and Timber Creek Square, a 300-acre multi-use project in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Brushy Creek near Austin, and the La Sienna development in Edinburg (South Texas).

Dannenbaum Engineering is considered by many to have one of the most experienced flood plain management groups in Texas. Our hydrology and hydraulics experts use field studies and sophisticated computer modeling to determine flood plain limits and provide the most accurate representation of what occurs during flooding.

Our original practice area, Dannenbaum Engineering’s Public Infrastructure group focuses on the safety and functionality of broad-scope projects including water and wastewater systems, roads and bridges, and public parks. Capabilities include planning, design, regulatory compliance, permit negotiation, construction management and facility management services.
